Bio

I was born near Toronto, Canada in 1984 and am half Dutch, half Canadian. I moved to the Southern US when I was 7 and was raised in Nashville, TN in the middle of the music world. I was 18 when I decided to head back to my home country for university. I spent four of the best and worst years of my life in Montreal - I met the most amazing, talented, brilliant people of my life at the most challenging school I've ever been to while I battled the cold, anxiety, and an adrenal tumor. Once I graduated, I moved back in with my parents in TN and spent the next 1.5 years, undergoing surgery and entering the work force by joining Apple Computer. Grad school was an opinion I refused once I started working at American Eagle Airlines in Feb 2007. Knowing in my heart that I belong in the airline and aviation industry, I moved to the Dallas/Fort Worth, TX area to be at Eagle's main hub and headquarters.

I am currently a passenger service agent, but I want to try other jobs in my industry. I love airplanes, and especially Boeing's (I even toured their factory in Everett, WA in Jan 2008). I am also interested in many other things, though my blog may not always reflect these things. I love my family. I love spirituality. I love animals, especially my two cats Zoë and Tara. I love politics. I love any/everything Apple and Mac. I am a larger, curvy girl and I love my body. I love other cultures, especially the Middle East. I love supporting people of all beliefs, body types, sexualities, ethnic backgrounds, native tongues. I am a firm supporter of freedom. I love British comedy. I love foreign languages and have formally studied French, Arabic, Turkish, and Russian (informally: Spanish, Japanese, German, Dutch, Ancient Greek). I love to travel. Did I mention I love airplanes? :D
